Sightlines visits your institution annually to tour campus, meet with facilities services personnel, and collect necessary data. Each year we track your institutional changes and improvements.

After we finalize the accuracy of your data, we publish it to our proprietary website where you have access 24/7 to data, benchmarks, and presentations.

Following the collection, we scrub your data for accuracy and reliability, input it into our qualified templates, highlight questions, and communicate any initial data concerns with you.

We return to your campus and present our final analysis, which includes recommendations based on your institution’s performance, mission and budgetary considerations. These recommendations can include process change or a compelling argument for more funding. Campus data can also demonstrate a need for a classroom utilization study or additional assessment. Some campus leaders also bring us back for presentations to broader campus constituents, from students to facilities employees to Boards of Trustees.

Your campus then has the opportunity to use Sightlines findings to bridge the gap between finance and facilities, act on our findings, and work towards creating real sustainable change on your campus.

As a final check on the data, we return to your campus to present preliminary data findings and discuss questions.

Once we have verified your data, our staff looks for the deeper meaning behind the data. We identify longitudinal trends and compare you to your peer campuses for further insights.
